That's my favourite item in that video. Looks like an easy but filling lunch. I sent this video to my father. He's Cantonese so he's exactly like you described--very particular about steamed fish. So particular that my mother doesn't bother to make him the dish anymore. ![]() RE: Travel and food channels on Youtube - NewtonsAdamsApple - 04-03-2025 (02-03-2025, 05:45 PM)clarissa+henry Wrote: I sent this video to my father. I won't go out of my way to look for steamed fish but the crowd tells me this place is at least quite solid. I love steamed fish, even fish head, so this video makes me happy. Not Cantonese or Teochew btw. ![]() RE: Travel and food channels on Youtube - kxingstar - 11-03-2025 (07-03-2025, 01:07 PM)k.ng Wrote: I love steamed fish, even fish head, so this video makes me happy. Haha same here. Steamed fish is just such a healthy source of protein. Just too bad preparation at home is quite troublesome and eating it outside tends to be a little too expensive. Yah I think fish is one of those foods that's better enjoyed when eating outside...if you can find a reasonably-priced place that does it well. |
