Wow I don't think even primary school canteens sell 30 cent drinks anymore. Actually quite interesting how the lady boss of that drinks stall mentioned that it's only possible because of their supplier and landlord who are also okay with making less money. Really shows how tough it is to sell at low prices with the number of parties involved. Unsung heroes of Singapore. Should honour them on National Days. Maybe I'm a little bit skeptical but what if the $0.30 soy milk is to draw in customers who will also spend on other items? Bcos the boss did mention that only the soy milk is priced low and everything else is normal priced. RE: Travel and food channels on Youtube - ylhs97 - 07-08-2025 Interesting SG60 buffet from Swensen's serving all the local classics but only from 10pm to 2am. And another catch for us westies...only available at Swensen's Changi Airport. ![]() RE: Travel and food channels on Youtube - mesmerise - 08-08-2025 (07-08-2025, 07:54 PM)ylhs97 Wrote: Interesting SG60 buffet from Swensen's serving all the local classics but only from 10pm to 2am. I like the little touches like the fake old-school signboards. ![]() RE: Travel and food channels on Youtube - totoro08 - 10-08-2025 (07-08-2025, 07:54 PM)ylhs97 Wrote: Interesting SG60 buffet from Swensen's serving all the local classics but only from 10pm to 2am. Walk from Changi to Boon Lay not bad also, can probably burn off all the carbs consumed. ![]() RE: Travel and food channels on Youtube - plmx - 12-08-2025 (11-08-2025, 12:06 PM)kxingstar Wrote: Walk from Changi to Boon Lay not bad also, can probably burn off all the carbs consumed. Hahha I got curious and asked chatgpt how many calories that journey would burn. The answer is 2000+ kcal, which probably accounts for the buffet unless you're a super heavy eater.
