thx for sharing. gd to see all the traditional malay food being sold. the geylang serai pasar malam is abit too..modern for some years alr. cant really blame the vendors bcos rental is high so they are tempted to sell 'value-added' stuff so they can charge more. but its gd to see malaysians preserving the traditional malay cuisine. Smile

I think that's going to be a problem for all local food, not just Malay food. The hawker culture will be very difficult to maintain with rising costs and changing demographics...

agree..and dont forget tt young people are reluctant to go into F&B. its a hard life, esp when they have to sell at low prices.
