The way the cheese stall prepares its product is quite cute. I've visited that market! The stroopwafels are a famous Dutch snack for a good reason. The fact that it was a political ad wasn't the problem for me, but rather how the channel disguised it as something else... HAHA I know which video you're talking about. What a coincidence to find an MP casually having breakfast alone and he'd even have the time to accompany the host to tour the neighbourhood... I guess it was quite deceptive but youtubers also have to make money la. Maybe he should have been more upfront? RE: Travel and food channels on Youtube - ScornfulScone - 03-05-2024 Nice diverse selection of food from Taiping, Perak. Could be a nice stopover for anyone driving up to Penang. Maybe it's time to pay them (and the food) a visit. I could be wrong but it looked like the people cooking the food are all local so the taste should be quite good and authentic. I understand the need for foreign labour especially in the F&B industry but it really helps when the people making the food have grown up actually eating that kind of food. |
