Before JCube, we had Jurong Entertainment Centre.  Always thought it was an iconic building of the west because of its colours and highly visible location.

I read the headlines of this article and was reminded of your post.

"Jurong East mall JCube set to make way for mixed-use residential development"




Even the somewhat new JCube is going to disappear and something else will take its place.

Maybe a few years from now, people will be talking about how they miss JCube.
