Selling handmade ice cream. Two flavours: Dark Chocolate and Milk Tea!
Posted by: arthur - 03-05-2024, 02:18 PM - Forum: Notice Board - Replies (14)

Hello all, I'm selling handmade ice cream on thiccicecream.sg

Dark Chocolate - 450ml - $15.80

This is the dark chocolate ice cream I've wanted my entire life. Deep and layered chocolatey flavour with just enough sweetness to bring out the fragrance of the cocoa. Blended with 75% cocoa solid chocolate.

Milk Tea with Jelly Pearls - 450ml - $14.80

Bubble tea but in ice cream form! I made sure to emphasise the fragrance of the tea by making it THICC. The jelly pearls then add a bit of texture to the whole experience.

-----------------------------------

Free delivery to everyone living within Jurong West St 61 to 65!

Again, you may order on www.thiccicecream.sg.

I hope you'll enjoy the ice cream!

Please note that our ice cream is not halal-certified yet but we're working towards it!

For updates on new flavours, follow my brand on instagram.com/thiccicecream.sg

  Inspirations for your next holiday
Posted by: shiv - 21-01-2024, 08:53 PM - Forum: Chit Chat - Replies (9)

Hello all, want to start a thread here to share ideas for our future holidays. Or maybe it's just an excuse to post this beautiful video of a sleeper train in Japan that has basic amenities but a 6-star view.

Looks like you have to click on the link to watch the video directly on YouTube but if you're a fan of train rides or the Japanese winter scenery, it's worth the watch.

Prices Of Food Rose 58.9% Compared With 20 Years Ago
Posted by: yh92 - 13-09-2023, 09:57 PM - Forum: Chit Chat - Replies (5)

From https://dollarsandsense.sg/singapore-inf...years-ago/

Quote:Meat, milk, cheese and eggs prices almost doubled the price (86.7% to 90.9%) it cost to buy them 20 years ago

Even then, these shocking stats don't account for the changes we've observed in daily life. For example, a carton of 30 Fairprice eggs was $4+ before COVID and it's not $8. I mentioned this a while ago in the Daily laughter thread.

Other notable increases include:

Quote:Utilities And Other Fuel Costs Grew 51.3% Since 2002
Health Care Costs Up 53.6% Over 2 Decades
Education Costs Up 75.7% Since 2002

While salaries certainly haven't increased that much for most of us. Sigh.

So I guess you can share tips on how to save money as prices will no doubt continue to rise.

  Family going through Dialysis
Posted by: j0krJag - 19-09-2022, 10:54 AM - Forum: Family and Education - Replies (1)

In our neighbourhood, are there loved ones going to dialysis, weather Haemodialysis or Peritoneal Dialysis.

My loved one is going through Peritoneal Dialysis, and very recently started at our home.

If there are this thread could be a discussion place for tips/advices. It can be a support page as well.

Being a caregiver is indeed stressful, by opening this thread, I hope people will be able feel that there is a kampung to fall back to.

Sharing some photos for everyone to enjoy. For me, looking through beautiful photos is a nice way to reflect and relax after work.

You can watch their performance here.

Seriously damn soulful. Raining in the background while these two guys jam in a condominium's bin centre.

if you try to book a grab ride with a saved location like "home" or "work", grab may quote you a higher price than if you type in the address manually.

Clementi residents start chat group to keep updated on wild monkeys in their estate
Posted by: AroyMakMak - 20-07-2022, 08:12 PM - Forum: Chit Chat - Replies (4)

https://mothership.sg/2022/07/monkeys-clementi-hdb/

Wild monkeys are breaking into Clementi homes to steal food and cause a mess, so the residents started a "Monkeys are here" chat group to warm each other about the appearance of these monkeys.

I'm just thankful we don't have to deal with this in Jurong West.  -_-

Travel vlogger spends a day in Sri Lanka
Posted by: ghettomotto - 10-07-2022, 03:26 PM - Forum: Chit Chat - Replies (3)

As many of you know, the Sri Lankan citizens just ousted their politicians after months of the country diving into steep decline. This vlogger from Hong Kong (I think) visited Sri Lanka recently and despite all the troubles there, he was still treated with warmth and kindness. All the best, Sri Lanka.
