This type of yu sheng (raw fish) used to be quite common in local coffee shops and hawker centres but it got banned in 2015. Regardless it's interesting to see how the same dish is served in Southern China.

Hmm I remember enjoying raw fish served with porridge at hawker centres but I think it was banned for a good reason because the risk of infection was too severe. Still cool to see a version (the original version?) of the dish in China though.
