Hmm I remember enjoying raw fish served with porridge at hawker centres but I think it was banned for a good reason because the risk of infection was too severe. Still cool to see a version (the original version?) of the dish in China though.

Yeah freshwater fish is too dangerous to be eaten raw. Honestly I wouldn't risk it in China...
