Has anyone grown their own ecosphere or terrarium here?
#1
I've been looking at ecospheres/terrarium videos quite a bit recently because they're relaxing and just so interesting to watch. Just wondering if any of you have built or grown your own?

This video shows an ecosphere that seems easy to set up. Just grab some seawater and plants and hope something grows. I guess the guy was lucky enough to catch a baby crab which grew quite big.

And then you have the more pro guys who can build mini forests with mist. Amazing.

Just wondering if there are any here in Jurong West. Can share more pics and vids if you don't mind. Big Smile

This video of a guy and his rainforest terrarium reminded me of this thread. Really cool diverse ecosystem of shrimp, snails, crabs, geckos, etc.

Very nice video. I think many kids will enjoy having a terrarium like this and it's educational too. Building it is another matter all together. Laugh

Very true, it's a serious investment of time and money. I'm happy to just watch the pros do it.

Thanks for reviving this thread haha. Nice video too. I can appreciate aquariums that are more "natural" as opposed to being for ornamental purposes.
