Video of an orang-utan driving a golf cart
#1

Firstly, it's amazing how the orang-utan managed to learn how to drive the golf cart. The video seems real as its steering matches up with the direction of the golf cart.

Secondly, why does it drive like so many uncles? Laugh

That's seriously incredible! Basically, the orang utan understands well enough how the golf cart works. Actually, as much as most casual human drivers. Big Smile The orang utan also seems to be driving on the path which requires some dexterity and fine motor skills too. I'm really quite amazed at this video. Thanks for posting it!

Yes! Driving a golf cart is not as simple as using a hammer or some sort of tool. Really cool video.

Looking at the compound it's driving in, I think some rich Arab sheik owns the own place. I'm also guessing because the orang-utan is kept in captivity, it got so bored that it had the excess time to fiddle around with the golf cart and learn how to drive it.

Yeah seems like some uber rich man's private zoo. I think it's a bit too much...but hopefully the orang-utan lives a better life than in whichever Indonesian forest that's being threatened by loggers or pollution.

Yes it's quite amazing that the orangutan managed to figure out how to drive a golf cart! But at the same time, I'm now remembering a video I saw of an orangutan attacking an excavator because it was destroying an orangutan's natural habitat...very heartbreaking.

that was tough to watch...especially after seeing how the orang utan is smart enough to drive a golf cart...
but thanks for linking the video as it is still good to be aware of such things.
