By the way, how's Tiger broker? I see their ads at bus stops all over jurong west so I'm a little skeptical actually, since true value-providing platforms rarely have to be advertised.
Yeah I was going to ask about Tiger Brokers too. They did some extensive advertising to the mass public but I'm not sure if that's 100% ethical because the stock market isn't for everyone. Even the most educated traders would admit there's an element of gambling involved. Buyers beware, indeed. Oh may I ask do you invest in anything?
I used to day trade a little but realised the gains were not enough unless I did it like a full-time job, which I wasn't willing to do. Hey, but who knows if I'll return to it in the future. I have some pocket change currently fermenting in crypto so let's see where that goes.
By the way, I think this is a good topic for discussion so kudos for starting this thread.

DOGE, or the rest - is the type that can swing very big - both sides.
It can be a short term play but I think long-term abit hard.

Thanks, will definitely keep this in mind if I intend to try out any new brokerage platforms. We should try and expand this board so we can get a nice organised referral chain going. I have a couple of friends here but they're still lurking, not registered yet.

Totally agree it's not suitable for holding. That's why it felt so fishy when Musk was promoting it. Tons of casual investors got in because of his endorsement and when it crashed, it seemed to spark or at least, contribute to an overall bear run in crypto a few months ago. That's one way to burn potential investors and prevent them from getting into crypto again, too bad for us who intend to hold.

Is syfe a good Trustable platform? I see that they prompt is to use singpass to sign up and all. Any thoughts on it? Maybe an insight from anyone that tried or currently using syfe?
I'm interested to invest but unsure of which platforms to trust!

Hi there, I personally used syfe for my monthly investment. with regards to whether it is trustable or not. For me, I would look if the company is regulated by the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS), if it is I would consider it as a trustable platform as they will have to have met the criteria for it to be under MAS.
My personal experience with it would be good, you can always contact people in the platform and they will reply to you fast.
I also used Stashaway but I kind of swapped to sfye due to its fees being lower.
If you need a referral code for Syfe here is mine: ( Your fee for 3 months will be waivered)

However, if you got a family member that used it and have the code please use theirs ya better to benefit your family than a stranger hahaha.
Do ask if you need any help or question with roboadviser / Syfe
Regards,
Keith Yeo
