The way this salad was served reminds me of a news story I read a while ago.

There's a Russian holiday on which pancakes are usually served. So one of the Russian cities' local govt decided to celebrate the holiday by serving pancakes to a large crowd of people. And because it's a large crowd of people, they used a shovel to serve the food.

Unfortunately, a lot of Russians ended up being insulted by this and were complaining online about how the govt sees them as farm animals.

And now people are paying good money to be served salads on shovels. Hmm.

yah its interesting whats considered cool can also be seen as insulting by others. your story is a good example.

If it's any consolation, that's probably not a real skeleton because I'm quite sure mice ears are cartilage and not bones.

LOL I was wondering the same thing. I was pretty certain ears don't have bones.

Now that we can be sure that it's a real mouse skeleton, I'd totally eat from that cheese platter. Hard to say no to a tray full of cheese, dried fruits, and ham. :x
