Clementi residents start chat group to keep updated on wild monkeys in their estate

Wild monkeys are breaking into Clementi homes to steal food and cause a mess, so the residents started a "Monkeys are here" chat group to warm each other about the appearance of these monkeys.

I'm just thankful we don't have to deal with this in Jurong West.

Wow this sounds like real trouble. I'm guessing these monkeys came from the Bukit Timah to Dover forest area.

I guess the industrial areas near Jurong West scared all the wildlife away.

There's an old lady who keeps a lot of cats in my neighbourhood and she told me there are still wild pythons around this area that will try to eat the cats. Looks like the industrial areas didn't scare all the wildlife away.

My brother saw a snake in the grass when he was jogging between our estate and the industrial area haha. Even more reasons for me not to go running.
