I feel kinda greedy for watching this video right after dinner but this looks too appetising not to share. Inspired by Xinjiang food but adapted to Shanxi flavours, this huge portion stewed chicken comes with very thick noodles.

Those noodles look perfect for the dish. Sometimes the thick noodles really hit the spot!

Haha I agree. I can't really describe it but you're right, sometimes a certain mood really calls for thick noodles.
