The game came out and I think it surprised quite a few people by actually being good. I think most people were expecting it to be another cash grab trying to cash in on nostalgia.

Clever how they incorporated the original Metal Slug's run-and-gun aspects into a tactics game. Now I'm quite tempted to play it if I can find the time...

Looks good. Can tell it's not a shitty cash grab because they bothered to recreate all the sprites in isometric view.
