Midpoint Orchard is perhaps one of those malls. The Indonesian restaurant looks good but I think the star of this video is the HK lady who makes handbags. Like Like

I came for the food review but stayed for the handbags. Big Smile

Nicely put. I feel that this applies to many old malls around the downtown area too which have interesting shops that want good locations without the crazy rentals of newer or more popular malls. The problem is that old malls tend to have less footfall but I guess that's what HongisBored's series is for.

I think I got this as a recommendation from youtube after watching the video you posted. This 77 year old man makes soba noodles from scratch every day. Looks amazing but can really feel every strain of his as he moves around the kitchen.

Wow you weren't joking when you wrote "can really feel every strain of his" because of how he has to exhale every time he bends over a little. This is very exhausting work.

Looks nice. Like I don't think I've had zaru soba made completely from scratch before but even the ones I've tried were enjoyable, especially on hot days.

I passed by this building so many times and never realised there's a hidden gem in there...

$5-6 for such portion sizes in that area is good value for money!

Nice find! I shall check this stall out one day. Quite sick of eating at the Suntec food court...
