Some nice discoveries in Bangkok's Chinatown. Especially intrigued by the stall selling raw seafood, which is always risky but looks tempting at the same time.

Even high-class hotel seafood restaurants are no exception. Learned this the hard way...

It's mostly the same thing but instead of the wide and flat rice noodles we use, they use a rolled up version that's also more chewy and al dente. There's even a local chain selling this around Singapore. Can search for Yaowarat Thai Kway Chap.

Easily one of my favourite food ever and definitely my favourite fish. This 100 year old Kyoto restaurant specialises in unagi. But those who are squeamish about fish getting killed and cut open should probably fast forward through the video...
