Here's another favourite snack of my childhood. Before chocopie, we had Hiro chocolate cake! I remember buying one in my primary school canteen if I had some pocket money left over at the end of every week.

mmm I remember this! it used to be 50 cents for a pack and it was actually considered quite expensive since 50 cents could also buy me a bowl of noodles back in primary school.

Before JCube, we had Jurong Entertainment Centre.  Always thought it was an iconic building of the west because of its colours and highly visible location.

I read the headlines of this article and was reminded of your post.

"Jurong East mall JCube set to make way for mixed-use residential development"




Even the somewhat new JCube is going to disappear and something else will take its place.

Maybe a few years from now, people will be talking about how they miss JCube.
