The dish relies heavily on lard so no choice la, it has to be a calorie bomb. If it doesn't use lard might as well eat something else.

This economy rice eatery from KL has gone viral recently because it's eat-all-you-want...at RM9.90. Looks like good quality food too!

Wah I don't know how they stay profitable but that's a really good deal for people working or living near that area. Cheaper than cooking.

Their business model def must rely on high volume of customers. Even then, it's probably not much profit since they can only serve so many in one outlet.

Taking into account rental, wages, utilities, cost of ingredients blabla I think they need a VERY high volume of customers.

I think wages alone will be quite a huge chunk since their shop looks quite labour intensive.

The duck rice looks quite nice but without a car, can't imagine myself travelling there just for a meal.
