Hey, have you played this game before.
Its quite mindless, just keep digging
deeper and deeper.

Its a browser game so can play on desktop..
I play it in office on a slow day to past some time. But There is a mobile version too.

Haha guess what? I was actually thinking about finding a web-based game to play during slow office hours. Thanks for the recommendation.

Speaking of browser or flash games...anyone else played this old flash game series called The Last Stand? Basically, zombie apocalypse setting and you try to survive as long as you can.

I was surprised to find out that the franchise is still alive and the newest game looks pretty nice. It's come a long way since the simplistic flash game graphics of the past.

I recognise LoL and Valorant but never heard of Blackshot before so I Googled it and sounds quite interesting. Basically an online first-person shooter like CSGO but with gear and stats you can accumulate like an MMORPG?

so I finally got the chance to try the The Last Stand: Aftermath for a while yesterday and I must say it was quite good! Like

one really cool idea is that you play a survivor of a zombie virus outbreak but you're infected, so your health keeps decreasing as you progress. but as your health decreases, you gain access to a choice of three random perks. so basically you become stronger as your health gets lower.

so far no real problem with the game, except maybe that it doesn't seem very well optimised so my GPU was running at 65 degrees celcius (which is higher than when I play a much "fuller" game like The Division 2). this could be a real problem to those of us who are trying to extend the lifespan of our GPU since they're so %*$# expensive these days Sad

Sucks to hear that the game isn't well optimised. 65 degrees is too high for what seems to be a relatively simple game. While the graphics look nice, they don't seem complex enough to be so taxing on the GPU.

i have a feeling a lot of the GPU processing power goes to the ragdoll physics...which is frankly quite unnecessary to a simple game like this. but it's still quite fun. i've been playing it for the last week or so and the general progression system is quite addictive. it's a bit slow though so probably not everyone will enjoy that kind of pace.

YES! It's the first multi-player game I played since 2010 till now. It's similar to CSGO but the graphics and game feel to my POV is better then CSGO (many would disagree but yes).
