I agree that the freshly-fried experience adds to the enjoyment but sometimes these pasar malam stalls' recipe may be better. I still remember one I bought from a neighbourhood pasar malam years ago and many many calories later, I still haven't been able to find a similar taste.

Aiya no choice la. Affordable takeaway food will always make use of plastic or styrofoam in some way.
