I agree that the freshly-fried experience adds to the enjoyment but sometimes these pasar malam stalls' recipe may be better. I still remember one I bought from a neighbourhood pasar malam years ago and many many calories later, I still haven't been able to find a similar taste.

The amount of lard he used is both Heart and Scared. Slightly leaning towards Heart though.

A wise friend once told me if you're eating unhealthy food like CKT, go all the way but make it a rare occasion because having CKT with less oil is just too unsatisfying. Big Smile

The interior decor is simply stunning. Really takes a lot of love and dedication to create that vibe without it looking too try-hard or artificial.
