The "Laksa Medan" really looks like Penang Laksa. Immigrants from Penang?

The video thumbnail is perfect--fried noodles should be sloppy and messy. This is why it's so hard to replicate the flavour at home.

It got me to watch the whole video. I was wondering what could defeat pho, char kway teow, ramen, or laksa.

Yup I tried a few times but frying noodles at home never turns out great. But hawker fried noodles tend to be too oily too. Sigh.
Btw saw this video of a 24h vending machine cart located in the West Coast area. Could be an interesting supper spot for us westies.

Has to be somewhat oily at least for that authentic taste. No choice haha.

Nice idea, especially for couples who want a quick break from the kids. Sometimes even a small thing like supper together is a good way to recharge.

This is good advice for young parents. Use small pockets of time to recharge as a couple because letting your kids dominate your life can ironically be quite harmful to the kids.

Nice post. Have to remind myself sometimes it's a marathon, not a sprint.
