Cannot compare SG and MY in that way la..personally I'm just thankful that I can work here and spend there.

I think this little Cheng Du eatery got posted here before but worth seeing Wang Gang's review of its food. Basically, it's a very budget-friendly buffet that costs less than $3. Elderly customers over 85 and kids under 4 get to eat for free AND kids between 4 to 10 get a 50% discount. Can tell the boss does it for the community. Always nice to see something like this.

Same vibes as this fish and chips shop in the UK. Prob not making any profits but doing it for the community.

Yup that seems to be the case everywhere. The ones who are in the right positions or professions making more money than before but everyone else either stagnating or making less...
