Gonna be tough with every cost rising. The best way is if customers who can afford paying more pay them a little more to help out.

I think the more able customers can pay a bit more, like with the other Muslim hawker stall that sells everything for $2.50. It's like paying it forward so this stall can afford to keep prices low for the elderly customers.

Very sweet video. Like others have said, really not easy to keep costs down especially post-covid.

He did mention something about hoping to expand into a franchise, which will be even more difficult to manage. Unfortunately if he does pursue that path, the quality at his original stall will likely be affected, as we have seen with so many stalls.
