I agree that the freshly-fried experience adds to the enjoyment but sometimes these pasar malam stalls' recipe may be better. I still remember one I bought from a neighbourhood pasar malam years ago and many many calories later, I still haven't been able to find a similar taste.

The interior decor is simply stunning. Really takes a lot of love and dedication to create that vibe without it looking too try-hard or artificial.
