Lots of hidden gems in that staff canteen. Used to work around there and its more or less the best value for money lunch place in the area.

This reviewer is quite strict with his ratings so to see him praising this stall so much is something special. Looks like this is legit!

in case any of you wondering how the geylang serai ramadan pasar malam looks this year, check out this vid.
a little quieter than usual but no choice la..on the plus side we get creative new stuff like drinks named after vaccines (4:30 in the vid).

This place in Connecticut claims to be the first restaurant to serve hamburgers in the US. Extremely unique cooking method and burgers. I guess you can call it 古早味 (original taste) hamburgers.

Super interesting to see how burgers looked like before McDonald's. Almost looks homemade.

Yeah especially with the sliced bread. Those super thick patties don't feel factory-made too.
Anybody tried this fried chicken rice in JB before? It's very near the checkpoint too.
