ate there a couple of times..very nice food. the Q is always long at lunch time but service is quite fast so the wait is not so bad.

This uncle has been frying char kway teow in Perak for 50 years! Looks great, especially when served in the banana leaf.

Frying char kway teow looks super tiring and uncomfortable. The uncles and aunties who do it are the unsung heroes.

just saw this video of ya kun in tokyo. it seems slightly more expensive than in singapore but still counted very affordable in tokyo.

interesting to see singapore franchise in overseas. too bad the curry and laksa look more watery, must be thick then shiok.

haha they were talking about why ya kun in tokyo hires beautiful and handsome staffs, unlike in SG.
