The next level is like an extreme version of ma la xiang guo. Then there's the ultimate level which is spicy rabbit's head.
I think I can handle the hotpot. But the ma la xiang guo looks too crazy.

This is the first time I've seen a hotpot so spicy that it's almost black in colour. Insane!

It looks scary but I feel tempted to challenge it. Big Smile
Food youtuber visits KL and gets food recommendations from taxi drivers. Super funny video and of course, good food too. Big Smile

yeah i agree. those warungs look solid.
A few new nasi lemak stalls have become quite popular among foodies recently but it can be hard to tell which ones are good and which ones are overrated. These two food vloggers decide to try 5 of them and their verdict? Dickson Nasi Lemak and Wild Coco are the best while the rest are just kinda eh.

Video is mostly in Chinese so if you need any translation help, leave a reply here and I'll try my best. Smile

For me, I still crave for Boon Lay Power nasi lemak...but from 10 years ago. -_-

Lol I don't understand Chinese but I can roughly gauge their reactions. It seems like there are many "upscale" nasi lemak stalls popping up but sometimes simple is best, like what the food reviewer said in the video below.

I agree. Can see why many people want to upscale nasi lemak so the profit margin is higher but I think it's more important to do the basics right first, like making sure the nasi is lemak. Must learn to walk before trying to fly.

Yah agreed, basic nasi lemak is very enjoyable as it is. But on the other hand, can see why there's a demand for fancy versions of nasi lemak also since people like to try new variations of classics.
