I think S$30+ is a bit too expensive. Not many people can eat that much deep fried food in one go but I guess it's not a bad experience to have at least once.
super huge serving sizes from this japanese restaurant! sometimes i dream about eating this much food after gym but then i remember why i went to gym in the first place. Laugh

Yum. I think I'm gonna make Japanese curry for dinner later. Should be quite nice on a cold day. Like

It is a bit ex but I think the novelty factor is there to try at least once. I find free flow ebi tempura very hard to resist. Big Smile
Sorry there are no English captions but I thought it's a fantastic video on RM3 food stalls in Penang, a lot of them catering to lower-income residents.

Quite touching to learn about these hawkers. I guess it's a good thing that they all have long queues of regular customers to make up for their tiny profit margins.

Yah there's probably no profit at all. Especially the guy selling chicken rice.

Even the carrot cake stall, which only has eggs, carrot cake, oil and seasoning as its ingredients, is also probably not making much in profit. Yeah really can't imagine the chicken rice stall having any profit at all too.
