Nice to see that it has customers from all races.

Looks delicious and I love how they insist on using the more expensive Malaysian cabbage instead of Chinese cabbage because of the flavour difference. Nice to see such attention to quality. Smile

I noticed that too! That's why I mentioned how their popularity is probably deserved. Smile
Small but popular banana leaf restaurant in Klang with customers from all races (notice the pattern? Big Smile). This video also features a stall that prepares fried bananas in a genius way.

I definitely noticed the pattern. Big Smile Like ricericerice mentioned, it's a good sign that the food is good because people still default to food from their own culture most of the time.

Btw, the fried banana is really quite genius. Very smart way to increase the crispiness! Surprised that not more stalls have copied that method.

Not only is it crispier, the look is unique too! But I guess it'll be less unique if everyone else copies their way of preparing it...

It will be more crispy but I think some customers also like the starchiness of the fried banana. So I guess it's about finding the balance between crispiness and starchiness.

I've tried quite a few banana leaf restaurants in the KL area and they're always very good. It's a reliable choice if you want something delicious and filling.
